I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk
I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk as I want to help those affected by the loss of a baby to find the light in the dark. Every day 13 babies die before, during or shortly after birth. I am raising funds to help Sands continue to build a world where more babies survive, and more families receive the happy ending they deserve.

Starlight Walk is a sponsored walk where hundreds of people come together to walk under the stars to remember their babies and raise funds for Sands. Jacob Thomas Lay, always loved, never forgotten.
Friday 15th NovOn the 20th September at 12.45 am we lost our unborn Son. He was born by C-section 16 hours later.
The heart-ache, pain and longing we have experienced since has been devastating. It is the hardest thing we have ever had to deal with and something we would never want anyone else to experience.
We loved our baby during the pregnancy but the love that flooded out when we first saw Jacob is hard to explain. That love will never stop.
SANDS have been there for us as a family, listening and supporting our journey with Jacob. Please donate to help others who have lost cherished and dearly loved babies find support.
