I’m running 2k a day in January for families facing baby loss
This January, I’m running 2km every day to raise money for Sands, a charity that supports people affected by pregnancy loss and baby loss
Having gone through pregnancy loss personally, this is a cause that means a great deal to me. Through this challenge, I hope to raise awareness and support the vital work Sands does for families during incredibly difficult times.

Update on my challenge
Tuesday 13th Jan My knees are reminding me that daily running is tough! Inflamed knees mean that I will be walking while they recover. I am still showing up every day regardless of the weather for this challenge and this cause. Thank you for all the encouragement and support 🤍 Share
Why this challenge?
Friday 2nd JanThose who know me know that I don’t like running and I’m not a very good runner. 2km might not sound like a lot to some, and for others it may feel easy, but for me it’s a real challenge. Committing to do it every single day is an even bigger one.
By taking on this challenge, I’m not only pushing myself completely out of my comfort zone and fitness level, but also raising awareness for pregnancy loss and baby loss, a cause very close to my heart, all while raising money for this amazing charity in the process.
I’m also looking forward to seeing my progress and comparing day one to my final day.
Fabio is already planning for us to enter future marathons together 🤪
