I’m walking 100K in March for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to walking 100K in March for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
Thank you.

My Last Day: Completing My Kilometers for Sands
Monday 31st MarAs I took my final steps in this challenge, I couldn’t help but reflect on the journey that got me here. Every kilometre I walked, ran, or pushed through was for a cause that means so much to me—supporting Sands and honouring the precious lives that were lost too soon.
When I first started this challenge, I knew it wouldn’t just be about covering the distance. It was about raising awareness, remembering, and making a difference for families who have experienced the heartbreak of baby loss. There were days when the kilometers felt long, but every step was a reminder of why I was doing this—to offer support, spread love, and help Sands continue their vital work.
The support I’ve received throughout this journey has been overwhelming. From encouraging messages to generous donations, I’ve felt a strong sense of community. It’s a reminder that none of us are alone in this—there is always support, always love, and always a way to make a difference.
Now that the challenge is complete, I feel a deep sense of gratitude. Thank you to everyone who has followed my journey, cheered me on, and contributed to this cause. If you haven’t yet had the chance to donate, there’s still time—every little bit helps Sands provide crucial support for families in need.
Though the kilometers are finished, the impact of this challenge continues. Together, we’ve made a difference. Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
