I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run this Baby Loss Awareness Week 9-15 October.
Sands exists to support anyone affected by the death of a baby, before, during or shortly after birth, whenever this happened and for as long as they need support.
By sponsoring me, you are helping Sands break the silence around baby loss and to continue to save babies’ lives.
£10 - could provide a hand and footprint kit to help create memories.
£20 - could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to help create and keep safe precious and lasting memories of their baby.
£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.
£100 - could help ensure every hospital in the UK has a dedicated Sands volunteer to help healthcare professionals access our training, guidance and support.

Running for Harry 🤍
Thursday 24th JulOn January 14th, I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy, Harry. He was born full term, but heartbreakingly, he was stillborn. There are no words that truly capture the pain of losing a baby the dreams, the love, and the future we imagined with his big brother, George, all gone in a moment.
Since losing Harry, I’ve become part of the SANDS community, a charity that supports families like mine, who have experienced the unimaginable loss of a baby. SANDS has been a lifeline, offering comfort, understanding, and a safe space to grieve, remember, and heal.
This October, I’m taking part in the Ribbon Run, a special event during Baby Loss Awareness Month. I’ll be running not just for myself, but for Harry and for all the babies who are forever loved and missed.
Every step I take will be in memory of Harry. Every ribbon worn is for a life that mattered.
I’m inviting friends, family, and kind strangers to support myself and Kerry, whether by donating, sharing our story, or simply keeping Harry in your thoughts. Your support will help SANDS continue their vital work: supporting families, funding research, and raising awareness to prevent baby loss in the future.
Grief never truly leaves us, but with love and support, we can carry it forward with purpose.
