Fundraising Evening in Memory of Luca 💙

My name is Amiee, and I am hosting this fundraising evening in loving memory of my beautiful wee boy, Luca.

Losing Luca has changed my life forever, and not a day goes by that he isn’t loved, missed, and remembered. Although he was taken from us far too soon, he will always be my son and will always hold a special place in my heart.

On 19th September, family and friends will come together at Kirkintilloch Rangers Club to remember Luca, celebrate his life, and honour his memory. There will be entertainment, raffles, auctions, and fundraising activities throughout the night, with all proceeds going to Sands.

I have chosen to raise money for Sands because they are a charity dedicated to supporting anyone affected by the loss of a baby. Sands provides bereavement support to families, works alongside healthcare professionals to improve the care that bereaved parents receive, and funds research and campaigns aimed at reducing the number of families affected by the loss of their baby. 

Their work helps ensure that families facing the unimaginable loss of a baby receive compassion, understanding, and support when they need it most. By donating, you are helping Sands continue this vital work and support families across the UK.

As Luca’s mum, this cause is incredibly close to my heart. By fundraising in his memory, I hope to honour his life while helping other families who may face a similar loss. If, through Luca’s memory, we can help even one family feel less alone during such a difficult time, then it means the world to me.
