My nephew & his wife prematurely gave birth to beautiful twin boys Oliver & Charlie but sadly they both passed away just days later. They have lived through the heartbreak that no other family should have to endure.

I’ve committed to running 2k a day this January for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Friday 9th Jan
What a change in the weather this morning, the rain has gone and the wind doesn’t seem to be as strong as forecast. Was a little bit slower this morning because I stopped to take some photos because the sky was such a beautiful colour and a wee chat with the neighbours.

Monday 5th Jan
Wet, miserable morning this morning, but every step and every penny counts. Not sure if the dogs felt the joy in the rain though 🥴

Day 3

Saturday 3rd Jan
Beautiful sky this morning, albeit the sun wasn’t showing his face. Every step counts as does every penny.

Day 2

Friday 2nd Jan
2k done and dusted. Walked with the dogs again today but will build up to a walk and jog in a few days. 2k isn’t far, but every step counts.
Still very chilly here in Spain but the sun was popping his head out.
