I’m running 2k a day in January for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to running 2k a day this January for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

What a buzz!

Wednesday 28th Jan
This morning at 5am, I completed my distance. Finishing strong with a 5k in under 40 minutes. 

For someone who didnt run before this challenge, I'm absolutely buzzing. And to be able to do this and raise money for a fantastic charity was just unbelievable. Thank you every single person who cheered me on and for those who sponsored me.

Can't believe we are at the 14th of January already. 
Today marks my half way point. Today at 5am, I reached 32 km 💪🏻 

I did this as a challenge having never run before. Didn't put much thought into except raise money for a fantastic charity. After day 4, I thought wtf have I done. 

Have I enjoyed it ? No! 
Do I feel proud? Yes!

Hi Everyone! 

I was looking for a challenge that would help raise money to support something close to our hearts. 
Over the years, we've supported other charities that have helped us. I seen this challenge to run equivalent to 2km per day in January which shoukd total 62km in total. 

I don't run!  I can't run! But im going to give it a bash all to raise some money for a charity that lies very close to some of our loved ones. 

A few people have asked for my fundraising page which I have only just finnished setting up. 





Too many families face the tragedy of losing their baby and are often left wondering why.

All the money raised will allow ensure that Sands can fund more research into why a baby dies, meaning steps can be taken to lower these numbers.
