I’m walking 100K in March for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to walking 100K in March for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
Thank you.

My Updates
For Lucian. My 18 year old forever baby.
Thursday 5th Feb My eldest would have been 18 by now, but he isn't. He only lived for 2 days after our placenta detached and Lucian was delivered via Caesarean section at Wittington Hospital. Two days into his short life Lucian's brain damage was too severe to ignore and Lucian's dad and I made the heart-breaking decision to disconnect life support. Since Lucian's death more research on placenta emerged and in time more still will become possible. My hope is that with better understanding of pregnancies more screening and prevention will become available to prospective parents and fewer of us will know the pain of baby loss.
