I’m walking 100K in March for Baby Miller 🤍
As some of you will already know on the 25th July 2024 we was given the news at our 12 week scan that the baby had a high level of fluid on the neck which could off been caused by a number of things, sadly the following week we was advised our baby had a 1in 5 diagnosis and the level of severity could not be given until birth.
With many factors to consider and some very hard conversations we decided it was unfair to bring a baby into this world who would possibly have no quality of life and live in a world of pain, therefore on the 8/8 our baby joined the angels.
This has been and still is like living in absolute hell and no1 can take away this feeling of guilt and grief. I recently reached out to the NHS therapy service for help in the hopes that speaking to someone would help ease the pain however they have advised the NHS cannot help me and i need to pay for a private bereavement counsellor.
I am hoping the money i can raise will go towards the funding of counselling that Sands provide for bereaved parents so that no other mother or father has the feel the way i have felt.
