Hi Everyone,

last night me and mum completed our 10km (and a bit)!!! 😁

we are so proud of ourselves and extremely happy to end this journey on a high, we have achieved over and beyond what we expected too - which we have everyone who donated to us to thank ❤️ every donation means so much to us and sands, and kept us motivated to finish.

there is still a few days left to donate so we will update everyone on the final day.

Reaching 9km

Hi All,

we are absolutely buzzing to say we have reached 9.1km!! 😁 Sunday was very successful with 2km swam, and we still have this week to finish off!

Reaching 7km - new PBs for me and mum 😁

Hi Everyone,

me and mum have reached a new PB for us both with 1.6km done in one swim! we could not have done this without the amazing opportunity the Glenavon Hotel/Club Riviera Leisure Suite have kindly gifted us. 
Getting to swim in here we were able to do the lengths uninterrupted and has been our best swims yet! (not to mention the amazing staff and facilities being a massive plus for us 🥳). We are so appreciative of this and we know we will definitely go above our 10km goal now! Thank you to all involved with this ❤️

Reaching 5km - half way 🥳

Hi Everyone,

over the weekend me and mum completed another 1.25km - bring us now to 5.5km 🥳 over half way!

we are so over whelmed with the support from everyone, with donations and kind words - its keeping us going when were doing our laps!

Reaching 4km

Hi Everyone!

This week was a bit of a challenge due to mum being sick, but we got back into the swing of things last night and got another 1km done - bringing up to 4.25km (almost half way!)

once again we want to thank you for all your support, it means a lot to us and to the charity - were very proud of where we are already!

Reaching 3km

Hi everyone, 

We have our third swim done and dusted today, with another 50 laps we have reached 3.25km! 🏊‍♀️

Did you know £30 could allow a healthcare professional to attend a workshop for bereavement care? This allows our healthcare system to get the education they need to provide the support to families in need! and we’ve raised so much I’m sure there will be plenty of healthcare workers and families that will benefit from this 💜

Reaching 2km

Hi Everyone,

last night we went for our second swim (with a time limit due to mass😆) and got another 30 laps, 0.75km. We have now reached 2km which is 1/5 of our 10km goal! 

once again we want to thank everyone who has donated so far, Clare at sands had informed us that just £25 is enough to give a family a memory box for their little one, a keep sake they will treasure - so we have a lot of families benefiting!!

Our first Swim 🏊

Hi everyone! 

Today me and mum swam 1.25km as our first swim of the challenge. We had only set out to do 20 lengths of the pool today and ended up doing 50, so we are very pleased with ourselves to reach and hopefully go over our 10km goal 🥳

Thank you to everyone who’s donated so far, we are completely blown away with all your kindness.

Tiny T’s - 10km November Swimming Challenge

We have committed to swimming this November for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.


We really appreciate and thank you for visiting our fundraising page in aid of SANDS. This is very close to our hearts as we lost our Grandson/nephew, Tommy Lee, at just 5 weeks old, in September 2023.  Our family were devastated at this time and continue to grieve our loss. Baby Tommy Lee’s daddy and mummy had great support from SANDS during this difficult time and we want to do our part to show our appreciation by raising vital funds to support this well deserving charity.


Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
