We did it!

Just completed our 15k for this special charity in memory of our precious daughter Lyla and the other babies we have also sadly lost. 

We feel so proud to have done this and raised money for such a great cause.

Almost there!

It is almost time for us to do our 15k run! We have been training over the last 8 weeks or so and it has been really hard at times - especially trying to fit a run in around work and other life stuff. Also I am definitely not as fit as I used to be!

We are as ready as we can be to take on this challenge and know that Lyla and this important cause will keep us on track on the day. 

Massive thanks to all of you that have donated - we have been really touched by your generosity.  

Will share a (very glamourous I'm sure) post run pic on Saturday once we have completed it :-)

We’re taking part in Sands Ribbon Run

In memory of our beautiful daughter Lyla, we're taking part in Sands Ribbon Run this Baby Loss Awareness Week 9-15 October. 

We are running 15k on Saturday 11th October. 

Sands exists to support anyone affected by the death of a baby, before, during or shortly after birth, whenever this happened and for as long as they need support. 

By sponsoring us, you are helping Sands break the silence around baby loss and to continue to save babies’ lives.

£10 - could provide a hand and footprint kit to help create memories.

£20 - could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to help create and keep safe precious and lasting memories of their baby.

£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.

£100 - could help ensure every hospital in the UK has a dedicated Sands volunteer to help healthcare professionals access our training, guidance and support.
