We're walking 100K in March for families facing baby loss
We've committed to walking 100K in March in memory of our son and every other much-loved baby sadly not here today.
We tragically and unexpectedly lost our baby boy Mason at 39 weeks gestation, after a low risk "textbook" pregnancy. Mason was born sleeping on the 22nd of September 2025. Investigations concluded that the placenta was ultimately too small to sustain him.
We attended our local Sands meeting 1 week after Mason was born and have continued to attend meetings each month.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much to us and other families going through the unimaginable.
