We’re taking part in Sands Ribbon Run
We're taking part in Sands Ribbon Run in Manchester this Baby Loss Awareness Week 9-15 October.
Want to join me in supporting a good cause? I'm taking part in the Ribbon Run for Sands and raising money for a cause close to my heart. Myself and my energetic young 'un Nathaniel are running to raise money for Sands in honour of my beautiful boy and his brother ,Elijah who passed away in 2009. It would have been his 16th birthday this year and he would be looking out for his lil'bro in the high school dinner queue and taking tips...maybe...from his big bro about girls and other teenage shenanigans. He's always the space in the photographs of my two gorgeous boys but occupies the permanent space in my heart. Love you Elijah Bear. See you again for hugs one day ❤️
In choosing to do this Run, Im also standing for the courageous parents who hold their babies close that I have cared for as a Rainbow Clinic Midwife. A silent strength that transcends words you are all amazing ! Thankyou for letting me be part of your story.
By sponsoring us, you are helping Sands break the silence around baby loss and to continue to save babies’ lives.
£20 - could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to help create and keep safe precious and lasting memories of their baby.
£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.
£100 - could help ensure every hospital in the UK has a dedicated Sands volunteer to help healthcare professionals access our training, guidance and support.
