A Heartfelt Thank You for Walking Beside Us
When we set out to walk 100 km in September for Sands, our goal was simple: to honour our baby Fox, raise awareness, and perhaps reach a modest fundraising target. We could never have imagined what happened next.
Within 24 hours of sharing our page, you—our family, friends, and wider community—helped us reach that first target. We were astonished, so we set a new goal. And then you did it again… and again. In the end, you helped us triple that figure, and we’ve raised the bar once more.
Your kindness, generosity, and words of encouragement have blown us away. Each message, each donation, and every step we take is helping us heal and giving us purpose.
Thanks to your incredible support, Sands can continue their vital work supporting bereaved families and funding research to save babies’ lives.

We're walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss
We’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
