We’re walking 100K in September in memory of our Eden Rose and for families facing baby loss

Eden Rose our Beautiful Baby Girl was born sleeping on 20th June 2024, our hearts are utterly broken that we didn’t get to take her home in our arms and watch her grow with her family.

Through this devastating loss, SANDS charity provided us with a special dedicated suite for baby loss within our local hospital in Tunbridge Wells. This gave us the space and support to spend 2 days with Eden, creating as many memories as we could in the tiny amount of time we had. They provided a memory box, and now offer ongoing support for dealing with this painful grief. 

Without this care and kindness I truly don’t know how we would have coped, alongside the incredible care we received from the Tunbridge Wells bereavement team also. 

In memory of Eden Rose we ask for anyone that would like to donate to give anything they can spare, no matter how little, as this support and care for stillbirth and neonatal bereaved parents is absolutely essential to try to get through this incredibly painful time.

Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, operates across the UK: supporting anyone affected by the death of a baby; working in partnership with health professionals to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care; and promoting improvements in practice and funding research that could help to reduce the loss of babies’ lives. 

We depend on the amazing energies of our supporters to raise the vital funds that we need to deliver the wide range of services that we offer. #TeamSands
