## Running into the New Year for a Cause Close to My Heart
Hey everyone! As January approaches, I'm gearing up for a challenge that's both personal and impactful. I'm committing to running 2km every single day in January to raise a minimum of £500 for Sands, the UK's leading pregnancy and baby loss charity.
Sands is an incredible organization that speaks up about pregnancy and baby loss, works tirelessly to save babies’ lives, and provides crucial support to bereaved families. Their compassionate community is dedicated to turning understanding into action, improving maternity safety, and offering bereavement care through vital research, training, and campaigning.
Losing a baby is an unimaginable tragedy, and Sands is there to offer a lifeline to families during their darkest times. By supporting them, we can help fund research to prevent baby loss, train healthcare professionals to provide better care, and ensure that bereaved families receive the support they need to navigate their grief. Every step I take during my 2km run will be in honor of these little lives and the families who love them.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby.
