Sands Ribbon Run - 10K - GAVGo

This Baby Loss Awareness Week (9–15 October), a small team from Gavgo is taking part in the Sands Ribbon Run 10K in Manchester — in honour of all the babies lost too soon, and in support of those still to come.

Like so many others, we’ve been personally touched by the heartbreak of baby loss. That’s why we’ve chosen to support Sands, a charity whose work means so much to us and countless other families across the UK.

Ribbon Run is a national sponsored run, walk or jog where thousands unite to remember their babies, break the silence around pregnancy and baby loss, and raise vital funds for Sands’ life-saving work.

By sponsoring our team, you're helping to ensure Sands can continue their mission — creating a world where fewer babies die, and where families are never left to grieve alone.

Here’s how your support could help:

• £20 could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to hold onto precious keepsakes of their baby.

• £35 could ensure someone facing loss has a compassionate voice at the end of the phone.

• £100 could help place a dedicated Sands volunteer in every hospital to support both grieving families and NHS staff.
