I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk

I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk as I want to help those affected by the loss of a baby to find the light in the dark. Every day 13 babies die before, during or shortly after birth. I am raising funds to help Sands continue to build a world where more babies survive, and more families receive the happy ending they deserve.  

Please sponsor me and help Sands create a legacy of hope and comfort, showing the world how much every baby is loved.

Starlight Walk is a sponsored walk where hundreds of people come together to walk under the stars to remember their babies and raise funds for Sands. Starlight Walk

Monday 30th Sep
My friend and I have decided to partake in the Starlight Walk on 23/11/2024 in Ashton Court Estate, we will be walking 5k. Pregnancy loss is something special to my heart.

I have decided to do this walk in memory of the babies born sleeping, the ones carried but were not met, the ones who came home but didn’t stay. My baby who Geoff and I  never got to meet in 2019. 

Pregnancy loss is more common than we think and is isolating, and lonely. It is important to continue to raise awareness of baby loss and provide support to those suffering. I therefore want to do my part and give back. I now have my rainbow baby but not all couples are that fortunate.
