I’m jogging 31 miles in May for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to jogging 31 miles in May for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Wednesday 7th May
2 mins and 40 odd seconds quicker than My first attempted mile jog… I can now fully jog 1 miles 🥳🥳

Day7 one week in. Target reached.

Wednesday 7th May
Thanks to all the donations that have been made we have raised £180 which is +£5 of my target. I’m so happy as this means that 7 memory boxes can be created and gifted to those who unfortunately need one. It’s an absoloutly heartbreaking thought for why we are raising this money and that there 7 families who will be reviving one, but it’s so comforting to know that they mean so much, this I know from my own experience. 
Thank you for all the support and donations, still another 24 jogs to go (24 miles)   Praying my knees and shins can cope with that haha

Run one

Friday 2nd May
Honestly I am no runner, the stairs are usually a challenge. I felt my actual lungs after the first run and they have felt much more open and utilised today… todays run (run 2) was surprisingly much more achievable. I managed to jog almost th whole thing without stopping or walking. So tomorrow’s goal will be to speed up a little and jog the entire mile. Thanks for all the support so far. And kind loving message also.
