Jog 31 Miles in May

I’m jogging 31 miles in May for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to jogging 31 miles in May for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Thank you.

30 Miles in May – For the Families Who Carry the Unseen Weight

This May, I’m lacing up my shoes and committing to running 30 miles—not for medals or personal bests, but for something far more meaningful.

I’m running for the families who have faced the unimaginable: the loss of a baby. These are the parents, siblings, grandparents, and loved ones who carry grief in their hearts every day. Some talk about it, some hold it quietly, but all of them deserve support, love, and remembrance.

This cause is very close to home. A close relative of mine experienced this heartbreaking loss, and watching their world change forever lit a fire in me to do something—anything—that might help others walking that same painful path.

So, mile by mile, I’ll be running in honour of every baby who didn’t get the chance to grow up, and every family learning to live with a piece of their heart missing.

Every step counts. Every pound raised will go toward helping bereaved families feel less alone.

Thank you for reading, supporting, donating—or simply standing with me.

Let’s make these miles matter.
