I’m running 50k in April for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to running 50k in April for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Run 50k in April
Tuesday 1st AprThis April, I’ll be taking part in the Run 50k Challenge in support of Sands – the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity.
As many of you know, baby loss is something incredibly close to our hearts. Starr lost her beautiful baby girl, Emily, in 2016, and together we’ve faced two more heart-breaking losses.
Sands has been a huge source of support for us and countless others navigating the unimaginable pain of baby loss.
I’m running 50 kilometres to honour our angel babies and to raise awareness and vital funds for Sands, so they can continue to support bereaved families and work towards a future where fewer families face this pain.
Every step I run is for the babies we couldn’t bring home – and for the families who carry their love every day.
