100K in March for Sands

Last month, I turned 28. At this stage in life, the circle of friends and loved ones around me are walking different paths. Some are getting married, buying homes, traveling the world, some who just had a baby and some... who, sadly, lost one. 

With a heavy heart, I write this, knowing that no words can truly grasp the depth of their grief nor the sorrowfulness they carry. The closest I’ve come to understanding their hardship, is through novels and memoirs. Wanting to support them in every way I could, I realised there was more to do beyond praying, offering words, and small gestures of comfort.

So, I’m turning to the experts, those who can make an impactful change. Sands is an incredible charity dedicated to ensuring that no one has to face this loss alone. This March, I’ve committed to walking 100K for every much-loved baby sadly not here with us today.

Sands provides vital support to families, trains healthcare professionals, and funds life-saving research to prevent more babies from being lost. They also campaign for change, so that fewer families have to endure this unthinkable pain.
