I’m walking 100K in March for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to walking 100K in March for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Saturday 22nd Feb So I am walking....yes walking.... At least 100k this March (this is more than I would do in a normal year 🤣) in order to raise money for the wonderful charity that is SANDS - they offer support to bereaved families and ongoing research into preventing what can only be described as the hardest thing anyone would have to deal with. Our little Edward was born at 33 weeks and after a short stay in NICU he came home strong and full of life but after just 5days at home he was on my lap when he went limp and lost all signs of life. No amount of CPR or work from the ambulance crew or hospital staff could help him so we had to say our goodbyes far too soon. We will never know if anything could have saved Edward but we do know that the work SANDS do could be life changing - for the better- for so many families and they deserve all the help they can get. They stand by us in our hour of need without asking for anything so its our job to ask on their behalf! Now....if I am willing to don sports wear and trainers 🤢 then I hope you are willing to show me the money in support! I'll keep you all updated!!! Wish me luck!! ShareThank you to my Sponsors
