I’m hosting a Starlight Walk for Sands

I’m hosting a Starlight Walk for Sands on the 13th of November as I want to help those affected by the loss of a baby to find the light in the dark. Every day 13 babies die before, during or shortly after birth and at least 15% of pregnancies end in miscarriage. I am raising funds to help Sands continue to build a world where more babies survive, and more families receive the happy ending and support they deserve.

Although our experience was only short it was a tough one. The lack of care, help and information given about our miscarriage was very real and I certainly felt alone. This didn’t need to happen and if by doing this it helps just one family, it will definitely be worth it.

Starlight Walk is a sponsored walk where hundreds of people, in many locations across the UK, come together to walk under the stars to remember their babies and to help raise awareness and funds for Sands. If you’d like to join me on this challenge, please sponsor me or join me for my 5km walk.

On the darkest of nights, the stars shine the brightest.
