Starlight Walk for Sands
I’m hosting a Starlight Walk for Sands on the 15th of November as I want to help those affected by the loss of a baby to find the light in the dark. Every day 13 babies die before, during or shortly after birth and at least 15% of pregnancies end in miscarriage.
Starlight Walk is a sponsored walk where hundreds of people, in many locations across the uk, come together to walk under the stars to remember, raise awareness and funds for Sands.
Our miscarriage highlighted a lack of care, help and information. We felt alone and didn’t know where to turn, so if we can help just one family, it will definitely be worth it.
