I’m walking 100K in March for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to walking 100K in March for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Why i am doing this!

In 2023 I experienced three miscarriages myself, though they were early on the heartache and loss greatly impacted my partner and I, often effecting our day to day lives. 

In September 2024 I also started my midwifery journey working alongside midwives as a student, seeing all these amazing mothers endure so much whilst pregnant and in labour, it has given me so much pride and joy in supporting them. Fortunately for me I have not experienced or witness great loss.

But many women and families undergo great loss of their babies before, during and after birth. Which is why I would like to support this charity in raising funds to help prevent baby loss in all trimesters and to give adequate support to women and families who unfortunately do experience loss.
