I’m walking 100km in March for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to walking 100km in March for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Why I've not reached the 100km goal yet.
Monday 18th Mar Hi folks, as you probably know I was want to do 200km Instead of 100km. But health has not been on my side.Sadly last week I came down with a terrible bug that had me bed bound for two days, this week I slipped and jolted my back, once again leaving unable to get out the house. I am hoping that tomorrow (Tuesday the 19th) I'll be back to feeling more able to get out and about. I really hope to be able to get out and get back on track with raiding funds for sands.

Why I'm walking
Wednesday 6th Mar Over the years I've had many friends and my sister lose there babies due to complications. I've seen the hurt this has caused them and how it has affected there lives. Some of them have no physical memories of the angels they have lost or have not received any help to manage their emotions or what this can do to a person's mental wellbeing.I support what Sands stands for and I wish to help support families that need support during these times.
