I’m hosting a Starlight Walk for Sands

I’m hosting a Starlight Walk for Sands as I want to help those affected by the loss of a baby to find the light in the dark. Every day 13 babies die before, during or shortly after birth. I am raising funds to help Sands continue to build a world where more babies survive, and more families receive the happy ending they deserve.

Starlight Walk is a sponsored walk where hundreds of people come together to walk under the stars to remember their babies and raise funds for Sands. Student Midwives coming together to support Sands

Hi! I’m Mel, I’m a second year student midwife. Myself alongside my wonderful cohort of student midwives are standing together to support Sands charity and taking on a 5k starlight walk in Medway. 

The loss of one baby is already far too many losses. We stand with Sands to support bereaved families in their time of need. Sands exists to reduce the number of babies dying and ensures that anyone affected by the death of a baby receives the best possible care and support for as long as they need it. 

Please support us and donate to such a lovely charity.  Around 13 babies die shortly before, during or after delivery every day in the UK. Stand with Sands to help reduce this number and support everybody affected.
