'Walk 100k in March' Challenge

Hi - I am raising money for SANDS as part of their "Walk 100k in March" challenge to support bereaved families, remember babies lost and support families affected by baby loss.

Back in 2023 we lost our daughter Samantha Taylor to an unexpected and unexplained still birth at 38 weeks. SANDS and other similar charities provided us a tremendous amount of support during that time and we want to contribute in some small way to continuing that great support.

Just £20 can provide a memory box for bereaved parents so if you are able to spare a few pennies then it would go so far and be very much appreciated.

More than 3,500 parents suffer from unexplained stillbirth and neonatal death every year and yet midwives and maternity consultants never talk about it.

Sands works towards ending that stigma. If you feel utterly alone, we understand but promise you, you are anything but. Don't be afraid to share your story and raise awareness to other pregnant couples out there.

It's not about driving fear but helping parents be emotionally prepared and supported. There is so much help out there.
