Run 30K in September

I’m running 30K in September for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to run 30K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Thank you.

Run for louise

In 2006 I lost my baby Louise rose danforth to an about placenta, the way this happened was very traumatic, she was born 12 weeks early as I got to the hospital with everything out but my baby they tipped me upside down on the bed to try urge everything back up but she became distressed they put me to sleep listening to her heartbeat for an emergency c section then woke me up said my baby was dead n put me back to sleep we had no support through this, didn't even know we could have got help towards her burial and greive everyday best we can and in 2010 we were moving in right direction but because the government decided they wanted to support the grief of our daughter after we had got to a point of moving forward from this I refused their help as they were only offering the processes I had already been through they removed my other 3 children so then the grieving process started all over again we now have a 8 month old who was born without a bum so nearly lost him too but he his here thriving, still with challenges to face but he's with his mum where he should be.
