I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk

I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk as I want to help those affected by the loss of a baby to find the light in the dark. Every day 13 babies die before, during or shortly after birth. I am raising funds to help Sands continue to build a world where more babies survive, and more families receive the happy ending they deserve.  

Please sponsor me and help Sands create a legacy of hope and comfort, showing the world how much every baby is loved.

Starlight Walk is a sponsored walk where hundreds of people come together to walk under the stars to remember their babies and raise funds for Sands. So far we are on £117.00, that's an amazing 5 almost 6 memory boxes. 

When my daughter died it wasn't just the memory box that helped me, it was the crucial services during and after her passing. Counselling, coping techniques, learning to move forward, try and take any positive from such a devastating situation. 

It's been 16 years since lily's passing, for many years I couldn't hold a newborn girl until they was at least 3 months plus until one day my god daughter I held for the first time a few weeks old and burst into tears, I found it hard when she passed people would cross over the road because they simply didn't know what to say.

£150.00 is the basic target to get, but if we could pass that and get more that would be absolutely amazing. Our little ones shine bright above us always ✨️
