I'm walking 100K in March for our babies and their families!

In early 2024, Amanda and I faced a heartbreaking loss when we miscarried at just nine weeks and two days into our pregnancy. The pain and grief that came with that moment have stayed with me, and it’s something I will never forget. It’s a loss that changed everything for us, and it has deeply affected me in ways I never anticipated.

Sands offers support to families facing the unimaginable loss of a baby, and they also fund vital research to help prevent future tragedies. Their work is so important, and it’s something I now hold close to my heart.

It wasn’t until we went through this ourselves that I truly understood how many others share this heartbreak. So many people - friends, family, and even strangers have their own stories of loss. It’s only through sharing these stories that we can find strength and comfort.

This March, I’ve committed to walking 100 kilometres to honour every baby who is no longer with us. This walk is my way of raising awareness, of doing something positive in the face of such a devastating loss. 
I’m walking not just for our baby, but for all the families who have experienced this kind of heartache.
