I’m running 30K in September for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to run 30K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

In July this year our gorgeous wee niece Olivia was born sleeping.
In memory of wee Olivia, this September, as a family, we are running 30k together throughout the month to fundraise for Sands, a charity who help fund neonatal research and also provide much needed bereavement support and practical help to families facing the loss of their baby.
James' sister Gemma, and her husband Matt have already been able to access support from Sands in helping them understand the grief their little boy Jacob has experienced in losing his wee sister, and there are many other ways that Sands may be able to help them in the weeks and months ahead.
We would appreciate anything you may be able to donate in helping motivate us as we lace up our trainers and head out throughout the month, but most importantly we would love to help raise funds to ensure that any family who faces this devastating loss can access the support they need at such a tough time. 

We did our first 3k run today and safe to say it was a very very soggy one!!
