I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run

I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run this Baby Loss Awareness Week 9-15 October.

In memory of Joshua and for all the families needing support.

Why is this charity is so important to me.....

Everything was normal at the 12 week scan. A couple weeks later I began to bleed, numerous trips to St Marys and scans found I was loosing amniotic fluid. They could try stop this to save the baby, but not me.

A couple of weeks after feeling those precious first kicks I went into labour. My heart was truly broken forever, I was only 17. 

I celebrate Joshua's birthday every year in silence as he shares it with one of his siblings, hence not mentioning his birth date.  I wouldn't want them to ever know.

This charity made it possible for me to have a birth certificate and those precious photos to keep forever. Something so simple but so treasured.
