I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk
My husband and I lost our first baby, Iris, at 18 weeks gestation. The grief following our loss was immense and all consuming. Having charities, such as SANDS, was a huge support to us, helping us to create memories and keepsakes with our baby that we cherish. In addition, the in-person support that we received was so lovely and we are endlessly grateful for that.
I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk as I want to help those affected by the loss of a baby to find the light in the dark. Every day 13 babies die before, during or shortly after birth. I am raising funds to help Sands continue to build a world where more babies survive, and more families receive the happy ending they deserve.

Starlight Walk is a sponsored walk where hundreds of people come together to walk under the stars to remember their babies and raise funds for Sands.
