I’m running 30K in September for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to run 30K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

5k!

Monday 16th Sep
I woke up this morning with the goal of completing 5k of running today.... And I did it! 🏃🏻‍♀️👟 Definitely one of the slowest I've ever done, but was really focusing on making sure I got there, and always room for improvement! Over halfway through this challenge now and proud to be raising money for this great cause.

2k today, and I solidly ran for 1k of it with no stops.. feeling proud today.  

Did a thing and joined the gym

Another 2km added to the total, and also took the plunge and joined a gym.. feeling determined.

First Run Done!

Sunday 1st Sep
Got my first km under my belt today - got brave and went out on my own after a busy day at the seaside. I knew I hadn't run for a while, but I'm definitely a lot more unfit than I realised. Proud to have got out there and done it!
