I’m walking 100km in March for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to walking 100km in March for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Baby Arthur
Monday 19th FebI am going to be doing the 100km walk through March to raise money for Sands which is very close to home for me.
When I lost Arthur the hospital I was in offered me the support of Sands. Sands is a charity run organisation that ensure anyone affected by the death of a baby receives the best possible care and support for as long as they need.
When I was in hospital I was put in a room that sands had fully kitted out for families to be with their children to say their final goodbyes, the support I received was unmatched. I had a lovely lady reach out to me after my loss to check in with me and offer support where needed. They gave me keepsakes for my Arthur that I will forever treasure and ensured I was supported with Lola.
