I’m running 50k in April for families facing baby loss
Help me run 50k in April under the cherry blossom for our daughter Maddison who would have turned 6 on April 15th.
I have a love/hate relationship with running (aka. I love the feeling of achievement but hate the thought of actually doing it some days) therefore I am committing for a cause this April and holding myself accountable to help anyone else affected by stillbirth or neonatal death and say a little happy birthday to our girl watching over us in the skies at the same time 💫
Sands is the support that is needed for parents and relatives in the toughest of times. One of our most treasured possessions is the memory box we hold for her. The cost of one of these is £20. Reaching a £200 target would provide 10 families with a memory box to hold the most precious memories and items.

Wednesday 2nd Apr HUGE thank you to every single sponsor that believes in my determination this month! I decided to kick it off on April 1st attempting my first EVER 10k! It was tough, only 9 month post partum I’m trying to go easy on myself but I have a problem setting standards too high and often feel I could have done more! But….
