I’m walking 100km in March for families facing baby loss - Anna Anderson
I have finally plucked up the courage to start a fundraiser for a charity very close to my heart.
As some of you may know, I have experienced pregnancy losses in the past. With these experiences, it can have a detrimental effect on your mental health, your partner, your confidence and the people around you. I have needed guidance and support throughout and it has been guaranteed from SANDS.
I have committed myself to walking 100km throughout the whole of March to raise as much money for SANDS and to give myself a wee challenge.
Sands supports anyone affected by the death of a baby, works in partnership with health professionals to try to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care and funds research that could help to reduce the numbers of babies dying and families devastated by this tragedy.
