I'm running in the Sands Ribbon Run this Baby Loss Awareness Week (9-15 October), and I need YOUR SUPPORT!.

As a therapist who works closely with parents experiencing pregnancy after loss, this cause is incredibly close to my heart. I’ve witnessed the heartache of families who don’t get to bring their babies home, and that's why I’m taking on 5, 10, or even 15km to help make sure that fewer families have to face that kind of loss.

The Ribbon Run isn’t just a run—it’s a chance to remember the babies we’ve lost and support Sands in their mission to give more families the happy endings they deserve. Whether I run, walk, or jog, I’ll be doing it with my heart full of love and determination for those who can’t run with me.

I’d love your help. By sponsoring me, you’re not only honouring these babies, but you’re also making a real difference to the families left behind:

💖 £3 could provide a Sands birth certificate for a baby whose birth can’t be officially registered.
💖 £10 could give parents a hand and footprint kit to create precious memories.
💖 £20 could provide a memory box, offering families a safe place to keep mementos of their baby.
💖 £35 could allow someone who's grieving to speak to a Sands helpline volunteer.
💖 £100 could ensure healthcare professionals are trained to support families through loss, with a dedicated Sands volunteer in every hospital.

Every donation, no matter how small, will help break the silence around baby loss and give these families the support they so desperately need.

I’m running for all the mums, dads, and families who have suffered the unthinkable. Please consider donating—your generosity could change lives 💫.

Thank you so much for your support. It means the world. 🌸

My First Run for Sands - 4km in 27 Minutes!

Friday 6th Sep

I did it! 🏃‍♀️ I just completed a 4km run through the park in 27 minutes. It wasn’t easy—I haven’t been running since having my baby, and my weak pelvic floor has kept me sidelined for a while. But after lots of hard work, physio, and determination, I’m finally getting back to it!

This run was more than just exercise; it’s part of my journey to support Sands and raise awareness for baby loss. Running with such a meaningful goal made all the difference. I’ll be using Strava to track my future runs and keep myself motivated, so stay tuned for more updates!

Thank you so much for your continued support—every step is for a cause that means the world to me ❤️
