One baby loss is too many.
Yet every year, thousands of families experience the heartbreak of losing a baby. Preeclampsia alone is responsible for around 1,000 baby deaths annually in the UK. Their lives matter, and their families deserve support.
This March, as the founder of Mission Preeclampsia, I’m taking on the Sands 100K Challenge—walking 100 kilometers to honour these babies and support Sands, a charity that provides vital care to bereaved families.
Every step is a tribute. Every donation helps make a difference.

We’ve committed to walking 100K in March for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby.
