The Lusty Babies

Our walk <3

Hi Guys,

Mike and I decided we wanted to do something special to mark one year since we lost our last baby 'Winter', who we lost on 2/12/2023.

But also to remember the multiple babies we have lost.

Starlight do their nationwide virtual walk on 7/12/2024, so we felt this was the perfect way to mark 1 year by raising some funds for an amazing charity whilst also remembering all those babies lost.

Due to my health we won't be doing a full 5k, however we have come up with a unique and special way to take part.

So we are inviting all those close to us to join us on 7/12/24 at 8pm, Haresfield beacon car park (Haresfield, Standish GL6 6PP). We will then all walk with our bag lanterns lit to the Topograph (its like a 5/10 min walk if that and is pushchair and wheelchair friendly) where we will gather and light and watch our lanterns fly off into the night sky.

If you sign up and join the team SANDS send you in the post your own bag lantern kit , which you can decorate and bring with you on the day.

We would love if you'd join us, no pressure to fund raise, Mike and I will be pushing that as hard as we can.

Much Love <3

We’re taking part in Sands Starlight Walk for our babies

We’re taking part in Sands Starlight Walk as we want to help those affected by the loss of a baby to find the light in the dark. Every day 13 babies die before, during or shortly after birth. We are raising funds to help Sands continue to build a world where more babies survive, and more families receive the happy ending they deserve.

Please sponsor us and help Sands create a legacy of hope and comfort, showing the world how much every baby is loved.

Starlight Walk is a sponsored walk where hundreds of people come together to walk under the stars to remember their babies and raise funds for Sands. If you’d like to join us on this challenge, you can sign up here http://www.fundraising.sands.org.uk/starlight-walk Starlight Walk events take place across the UK or you could choose to take part virtually at a location of your choice.

On the darkest of nights, the stars shine the brightest.

Thank you to our Sponsors
