Why we are doing the Ribbon Run
Bailey & I are taking part in the SANDS Ribbon Run this Saturday 12th of October during baby loss awareness week. We are running in memory of my beautiful baby girl Maia who sadly passed away at only 6 months old. Maia was a true little warrior and fought hard to be here and she is so sorely missed everyday. We like to take part in these charity events to keep her memory alive and also to give our own minds focus especially around difficult dates such as bably loss awareness week which takes place from the 9th-15th of October and is then followed by Maia's anniversary on the 23rd of October. For those who don't know SANDS is the 'Stillbirth And Neonatal Death' charity which exists to reduce the number of babies dying and to support families through the loss of their child before during or after birth.We’re taking part in Sands Ribbon Run
