I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk in memory of Lucas 💙

Myself and Emmy are taking part in Sands Starlight Walk in memory of our little Lucas ✨

Lucas died suddenly and unexpectedly when he was just 12 days old in May 2014. We were plummeted into a world of uncertainty and heartbreak, and have since been learning to navigate the reality of our baby dying, living with grief and learning how to carry on with life. 

I love to fundraiser for SANDS as the charity forums were an absolute lifeline for me in the early days. I want to help those affected by the loss of a baby to find the light in the dark. Every day 13 babies die before, during or shortly after birth. I am raising funds to help Sands continue to build a world where more babies survive, and more families receive the happy ending they deserve.

Starlight Walk is a sponsored walk where hundreds of people come together to walk under the stars to remember their babies and raise funds for Sands.
